SPOILERS BEWARE Three seasons later and Overlord isnt getting stale if anything its moving in the opposite direction Overlord is only beginning to pick up traction. The world building of this series is seriously starting to show and Ive been captivated by it. In S1 Ainz joked that conquering the world may be fun and well thats exactly what starts occurring this season. The plan was so well masterminded by Demiurge that even Ainz himself wasnt aware of the fact he will start conquering the world soonthese short yet hilarious moments where Ainz makes up lies to not disappoint his subordinates are great content. 800https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/635602177833959439/1012343201463545887/unknown.png The world building continues this season as we are introduced to the Baharuth Empire led by Emperor Jircniv however he may have overstepped a boundary he never wanted to cross when he put out a quest for a raid on The Great Tomb of Narazick as the world simply wont be the same from this moment onwards. After having his home raided and peace disturbed his plan of world domination truly comes into the light as he joins an alliance with the Empire in their yearly war against the ReEstize Kingdom. The outcome is exactly as anyone watching Overlord would expect Ainz is superior to the human race and absolutely decimates a sizeable chunk of the Kingdoms army with one spell. Ainz is an evil Overlord but one cant help admire and respect him since hes totally badass. Some may see him as a villain since hes an undead and pretty much parted with his human emotions at this point however everything he does is to protect his family and home. At times he needs to experiment to put his name on the map and thats exactly what he does by the end of this season when he takes over the ReEstize Kingdom hailing it as the day his own country Sorcerer Kingdom Ainz Ooal Gown is born. 800https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/635602177833959439/1012342085191471144/unknown.png I simply do not get bored of Overlord anymore as the slower paced world building and its character development is accompanied brilliantly by the action present whenever Ainz is on the battlefield. This isekai is simply fun to watch I begin an episode and before I know it its already over and then the OST oh man are the OP/EDs stunning for all three seasons for that matter. Myth Roid and OxT both do a fantastic job throughout the seasons supplementing constant bangers season after season. https://www..com/watch?v=611k184Ia3Eabchannel=TheSoulofWind https://www..com/watch?v=MVVbPnKu7x0abchannel=WILLIE Like mentioned above this season ends with Ainz establishing his country so this makes me very interested to see where Overlord goes from here on out S4 is still currently airing and you can bet I will jump straight onto that once the last episode airs. It will likely be watched in a single evening if I find time for it since this series has really progressed forward in the correct direction over the past three seasons and at the end of the day I simply want to see more Overlord.
