Inuyasha was a really nice anime I actually started watching inuyasha when I was a kid. My mom used to sweep the floor so shed tell us to stay in the room so we dont step on the floor and at the time the only channel with something proper to watch had inuyasha on. I was very confused I barely understood the concept too lmao. But it was just fun seeing the action and thrill of inuyasha fighting. Once i grew up I decided to rewatch it properly and Im happy I did so. I for one find inuyasha the best anime. Its my favorite to this day which is the reason im even writing this review The romance the complex between inuyasha and kagome the reincarnation plot the comedy. All of it was just perfect to the point. My favorite scenes as a kid were the ones where inuyasha would fight seshomaru and to this day he remains my favorite character. Hes very vague and mysterious. Its such a cliche and i know that but they dont make shows like this anymore. They just dont Cliche is good. I also recommend checking out the author she is amazing. I also watched her other work like ranma for an instance. I used to watch it in arabic as a kid and theyd call ranma rim it was very confusing rewatching it ahaha. Overall Inuyasha makes me remember my childhood and I think thats why I consider it to be my favorite anime. Yet Ive watched over 100 anime and I am yet to see any better. The growth between kagome and inuyasha the mystery of kikyo which gets uncovered layer by layer as we go on through the story the misunderstandings that eat you up inside and finally the shikon jewel. A beautiful sacred jewel that is the reason for the entire show n run. They make you want one for yourself Kagomes struggles feel relatable at times like how she is unable to manage both the feudal era plus her high school life. But the fact that her family is laid back about her decisions surely isnt. To choose to live in the past literally and neglect half her high school year was very confusing to me. I would have preferred if there was a time difference as well. But then it also makes me wonder if their decision of letting her be free has something to do with her dad. Her dad a real mystery that I forgot to every question at times.
