Now this series might look off to you. but Im telling you this is a masterpiece. Never before have I been more interested in training and being active. I am generally not the one to work out all that much but after watching this I am sold. A series about our main heroine Hinako who suddenly has turned into an anime character and does not know how. She accepts it quickly and then tells the viewer that she has to lose weight and starts a collaboration between the world of anime and real life. Story: The narrative is quite deep and complex as the main character does rhythementry movements in three different exercsise poses. The story begins with the main protagonist Hinako introducing herself to the viewer directly breaking the 4th wall and then monologues about how she became an anime character and explains she has no idea how she became an anime character. She then suggests a collaboration between anime and reality. After a quick game of rockpaperscissors she suggests some weight training as she has gotten a bit chubby then directing the viewers now down moving gaze up as to ruin the viewers time. She then explains to you the three different exercises pushups situps and squats. She then comments about how chubby the viewer is. She decides that its settled and we start doing the exercises she planned. The exercises in question are executed in the order mentioned above. Animation: Astounding. This really carries the anime motivating the viewer. It really showcases the cuteness and innocence of Hinako firing up the avarage cultured man and drives past their limits during their training regimen. It has a perfect balance of innocence and sexyness which comes across perfectly. It feels as though every scene every second every frame are made and animated to perfection all in the hopes of motivating the viewer to keep going and not give in There is not much put into the setting. In the beginning we start with Hinako in the shower and after the brief introduction scene we are shown into the Hinakos bedroom wherre our training exercises will take place. Voice acting: The lone voice actor Mai Kadowaki does an amazing job as Hinako. She does a good job at acting like she is exhausted which is a necessity in this anime because of obvious reasons. She does come off as childish and innocent much like in other roles shes had like Illyasfiel from the fate franchise. In conclusion. This anime is a work of art and was truly ahead of its time and there is nothing that can convince me otherwise.. I cannot even fathom to believe that a hidden gem such as Training with Hinako has existed without my knowledge for 11 years and I can only thank the gods that led me to it. 69/100 will definetly rewatch this once in a while.
